Con mucha alegría invitamos a toda nuestra comunidad Kendaliana a participar de nuestra esperada Muestra Folclórica 2026, que se realizará el próximo lunes 7 de septiembre, a partir de las 18:00 horas, en el Estadio del Banco Central.<o:p></o:p>Esta tradicional celebración reunirá a nuestros estudiantes desde Prekínder hasta 4° Medio, quienes nos presentarán diferentes danzas típicas de Chile y Latinoamérica, compartiendo a través de la música y el baile la riqueza de nuestras tradiciones y cultura.<o:p></o:p>Será una hermosa instancia para encontrarnos como comunidad, disfrutar del trabajo que nuestros estudiantes y profesores han preparado con tanto entusiasmo y acompañar cada una de sus presentaciones.<o:p></o:p>Además, durante la jornada contaremos con stands de comida, para que nuestras familias puedan disfrutar y compartir en un ambiente alegre y festivo.<o:p></o:p>Les recordamos los horarios para esa jornada:<o:p></o:p>CAMBIO DE JORNADA: No hay clases en el colegio.<o:p></o:p>Llegada de los estudiantes a Banco Central: 17:00 horas.<o:p></o:p>Inicio del evento: 18:00 horas.<o:p></o:p>¡Los esperamos para celebrar juntos nuestras raíces, tradiciones y el talento de nuestros estudiantes!<o:p></o:p>&nbsp;&nbsp;<hr>&nbsp;<o:p></o:p>Let’s Celebrate Our 2026 Folkloric Show!<o:p></o:p>We are delighted to invite our entire Kendalian community to our much-awaited 2026 Folkloric Show, which will take place on Monday, September 7th, starting at 6:00 p.m. at Estadio del Banco Central.<o:p></o:p>This traditional celebration will bring together our students from Pre-Kinder to 12th Grade, who will perform a variety of traditional dances from Chile and Latin America, celebrating the richness of our culture and traditions through music and dance.<o:p></o:p>It will be a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community, enjoy the performances our students and teachers have prepared with great enthusiasm, and support them as they proudly take the stage.<o:p></o:p>Throughout the event, families will also be able to enjoy a variety of food stands, creating a joyful and festive atmosphere for everyone to share.<o:p></o:p>We would like to remind you of the schedule for that day:<o:p></o:p>SCHEDULE CHANGE: There will be no classes at school.<o:p></o:p>Student arrival at Banco Central: 5:00 p.m.<o:p></o:p>Event begins: 6:00 p.m.<o:p></o:p>We look forward to celebrating our roots, traditions, and our students’ wonderful talent together!<o:p></o:p>&nbsp;<figure class="image"><img alt="Imagen1.jpg" src="https://kendal-providencia.s3.amazonaws.com/Imagen1_3d1336de00.jpg" srcset="https://kendal-providencia.s3.amazonaws.com/thumbnail_Imagen1_3d1336de00.jpg 111w, https://kendal-providencia.s3.amazonaws.com/small_Imagen1_3d1336de00.jpg 357w, https://kendal-providencia.s3.amazonaws.com/medium_Imagen1_3d1336de00.jpg 536w, https://kendal-providencia.s3.amazonaws.com/large_Imagen1_3d1336de00.jpg 715w" sizes="100vw" width="715"></figure>

¡Celebremos juntos nuestra Muestra Folclórica 2026!

Esta semana tuvimos el agrado de recibir a Sol Boschi, representante de Cambridge International para el Cono Sur, en nuestra Sede Providencia, en una jornada muy especial de encuentro con nuestros estudiantes, profesores y equipo académico.<o:p></o:p>Como Cambridge International Associate School, valoramos especialmente estas instancias que nos permiten compartir nuestro trabajo, intercambiar experiencias y continuar avanzando en la implementación de los programas Cambridge y en el desarrollo de experiencias de aprendizaje de excelencia para nuestros estudiantes.<o:p></o:p>Sol contó con un especial comité de bienvenida, integrado por estudiantes de los distintos cursos, quienes asumieron con mucho entusiasmo el rol de anfitriones y la acompañaron durante su recorrido por las salas de clases.<o:p></o:p>La visita comenzó en Pre-Kinder, donde Sol participó de una sesión de Mindfulness junto a los niños. Luego, en Kinder, disfrutó de una presentación de canciones y conversó con las profesoras sobre distintas estrategias de trabajo para favorecer el aprendizaje y la sana convivencia. Además, tuvo la oportunidad de conocer a nuestros queridos pollitos tejidos, que cada fin de semana acompañan a nuestros estudiantes en casa.<o:p></o:p>Posteriormente, Sol recorrió todos los cursos de Junior, donde los niños se presentaron uno a uno y tuvieron la oportunidad de conversar brevemente con ella, compartiendo de manera cercana parte de su experiencia en el colegio.<o:p></o:p>La jornada continuó con una reunión junto a los integrantes del Equipo Académico de las Sedes Ñuñoa y Providencia, liderado por nuestra Directora Académica, Miss Cynthia Saavedra, instancia en la que pudieron compartir sobre nuestro trabajo académico y la implementación del programa Cambridge International en nuestro colegio.<o:p></o:p>Agradecemos sinceramente a Sol Boschi por su visita, su cercanía y la oportunidad de compartir con nuestra comunidad educativa. Para Kendal English School, ser parte de la comunidad Cambridge International representa un compromiso permanente con la excelencia, el desarrollo de nuestros estudiantes y una educación con perspectiva internacional.<o:p></o:p>&nbsp;<hr>&nbsp;This week, we were delighted to welcome Sol Boschi, Cambridge International Representative for the Southern Cone, to our Providencia Campus for a very special day of connection with our students, teachers and Academic Team.<o:p></o:p>As a Cambridge International Associate School, we particularly value these opportunities to share our work, exchange experiences and continue advancing in the implementation of Cambridge programmes and the development of high-quality learning experiences for our students.<o:p></o:p>Sol was welcomed by a special Welcome Committee, made up of students from different year levels, who enthusiastically took on the role of hosts and accompanied her throughout her visit to the classrooms.<o:p></o:p>The visit began in Pre-Kinder, where Sol joined the children for a Mindfulness session. She then visited Kinder, where she enjoyed a song presentation and spoke with the teachers about different strategies to foster both learning and positive relationships within the classroom. She also had the opportunity to meet our beloved knitted chicks, which spend each weekend at home with one of our students.<o:p></o:p>Sol then visited all the Junior classes, where the children introduced themselves one by one and had the opportunity to have a brief conversation with her, sharing a little about their experience at Kendal.<o:p></o:p>The visit continued with a meeting with members of the Academic Teams from our Ñuñoa and Providencia Campuses, led by our Academic Director, Miss Cynthia Saavedra. This provided an opportunity to share our academic work and discuss the implementation of the Cambridge International programme at our school.<o:p></o:p>We are sincerely grateful to Sol Boschi for her visit, her warmth and the opportunity to connect with our school community. For Kendal English School, being part of the Cambridge International community represents an ongoing commitment to educational excellence, the development of our students and an education with an international perspective.<o:p></o:p>

Cambridge International at Kendal!

El viernes 21 de agosto vivimos una jornada llena de curiosidad, aprendizaje y entusiasmo con la realización de nuestra Science Fair 2026 en Sede Providencia, una instancia en la que nuestros estudiantes de 1° a 4° básico se transformaron en pequeños científicos para compartir sus conocimientos, investigaciones y experimentos.<o:p></o:p>Durante las últimas semanas, nuestros estudiantes trabajaron con gran dedicación en la preparación de sus proyectos, poniendo en práctica distintas habilidades científicas como observar, formular preguntas, investigar, experimentar, analizar resultados y comunicar sus conclusiones.<o:p></o:p>Durante la feria, cada grupo tuvo la oportunidad de presentar y explicar su proyecto, demostrando no solo los conocimientos adquiridos en Science, sino también importantes habilidades como la comunicación, el trabajo en equipo, la creatividad y la confianza para expresarse frente a otros.<o:p></o:p>Fue una jornada especialmente significativa, en la que pudimos ver a nuestros niños y niñas entusiasmados por aprender, descubrir y compartir lo que habían preparado. Cada experimento y presentación fue el reflejo de semanas de esfuerzo, compromiso y acompañamiento por parte de sus profesoras.<o:p></o:p>Felicitamos a todos nuestros estudiantes por su excelente participación y agradecemos especialmente a nuestros/as profesores/as y a todo el equipo de Sede Providencia por el compromiso, dedicación y cariño puestos en la preparación de esta actividad.<o:p></o:p>¡Estamos muy orgullosos de nuestros pequeños científicos!<o:p></o:p>&nbsp;<hr>&nbsp;Science Fair 2026: Science Came to Life at Kendal English School!<o:p></o:p>On Friday, August 21st, our Providencia Branch was filled with curiosity, learning and excitement as we celebrated our Science Fair 2026, an opportunity for our 1st to 4th Grade students to become young scientists and proudly share their knowledge, investigations and experiments.<o:p></o:p>Over the past few weeks, our students worked with great dedication to prepare their projects, putting important scientific skills into practice, such as observing, asking questions, investigating, experimenting, analysing results and communicating their conclusions.<o:p></o:p>Throughout the fair, each group had the opportunity to present and explain their project, demonstrating not only the knowledge they have acquired in Science, but also important skills such as communication, teamwork, creativity and confidence when speaking in front of others.<o:p></o:p>It was a particularly meaningful day, as we had the opportunity to see our students excited about learning, discovering and sharing what they had prepared. Every experiment and presentation reflected weeks of effort, commitment and guidance from their teachers.<o:p></o:p>We congratulate all our students on their excellent participation and extend a special thank you to our teachers and the entire Providencia Branch team for the commitment, dedication and care they put into making this event possible.<o:p></o:p>We are incredibly proud of our young scientists!<o:p></o:p>

Science Fair 2026: ¡La ciencia cobró vida en Kendal English School!

Nuestro colegio cree que cada niño tiene el potencial de generar un impacto positivo en el mundo. En este Día del Niño, celebramos a nuestros estudiantes bajo el lema “Heroes of Tomorrow”, reconociendo sus sueños, sus cualidades únicas y las infinitas posibilidades que tienen por delante.<o:p></o:p>Durante esta celebración, nuestros estudiantes disfrutaron de una jornada especial llena de diversión, risas, juegos, disfraces y momentos memorables junto a sus compañeros y profesores. No solo celebramos la infancia; también fue una oportunidad para recordarles a nuestros estudiantes cuánto los valoramos y cuánto creemos en ellos.<o:p></o:p>Creemos en nuestros niños por sobre todas las cosas: en sus capacidades, sus ideas, su bondad, su curiosidad y su capacidad para superar desafíos y crecer hasta convertirse en las personas que están destinados a ser. Cada pregunta que hacen, cada cosa nueva que aprenden, cada desafío que enfrentan y cada sueño que imaginan forma parte del camino que irá construyendo su futuro.<o:p></o:p>“Heroes of Tomorrow” nos recuerda que los héroes no necesitan usar capas. Pueden ser amigos empáticos, estudiantes curiosos, líderes valientes, pensadores creativos, ciudadanos responsables y personas que eligen generar un impacto positivo en la vida de los demás.<o:p></o:p>A nuestros queridos estudiantes: les deseamos siempre lo mejor. Esperamos que continúen soñando en grande, creyendo en ustedes mismos, preocupándose por los demás y enfrentando el futuro con valentía y confianza. Siempre estaremos aquí para apoyarlos, acompañarlos y celebrar cada paso de su camino.<o:p></o:p>&nbsp;Porque el futuro está en sus manos y son ustedes quienes lo construirán.<o:p></o:p>¡Feliz Día del Niño a nuestros Heroes of Tomorrow!&nbsp;<o:p></o:p>&nbsp;&nbsp;<hr>&nbsp;<o:p></o:p>Our school believes that every child has the potential to make a difference in the world. This Children’s Day, we celebrated our students under the theme “Heroes of Tomorrow”, honouring their dreams, unique qualities, and the endless possibilities that lie ahead of them.<o:p></o:p>During this celebration, our students enjoyed a special day filled with fun, laughter, games, costumes, and memorable moments shared with their classmates and teachers. We didn’t just celebrate childhood; the day was an opportunity to remind our students how much they are valued and how deeply we believe in them.<o:p></o:p>We believe in our children above all else: in their abilities, their ideas, their kindness, their curiosity, their capacity to overcome challenges and grow into the people they are meant to become. Every question they ask, every new thing they learn, every challenge they face, and every dream they imagine is part of the journey that will shape their future.<o:p></o:p>&nbsp;“Heroes of Tomorrow” reminds us that heroes do not have to wear capes. They can be compassionate friends, curious learners, courageous leaders, creative thinkers, responsible citizens, and people who choose to make a positive difference in others' lives.<o:p></o:p>To our wonderful students: we wish you the very best, always. We hope you continue to dream big, believe in yourselves, care for others, and face the future with courage and confidence.
